Why is Bublup a paid-only app?

Bublup is an ad-free platform that does not monetize personal data and deeply respect’s user privacy. In order for Bublup to continue its business operations and remain economically viable, we have to charge our users a small monthly fee. We realize this change is not suitable for everyone, but unfortunately, in this economic climate, this is the only path forward for our company. Click here to read the full statement from our CEO.

What happens if I don’t upgrade my account?

Beginning Dec 1, free account holders will continue to have view-only access to their data for a limited time. However, eventually, Bublup will have to start deleting data in free accounts. Advance notice will be provided to allow free users to download and safeguard their data. This will not affect their ability to access content in group folder shared with them by paying users.

What features are available on a “guest” (free) account?

Guest accounts are able to join and interact with “group folders”, folders that have been shared with them by premium users. This includes adding and viewing content, commenting, and reacting. Free users will not be able to add new content to their private folders or share their folders, items or rolls with other users.

How to export your account:

If you decide you’d prefer to manage your information somewhere else, we understand and have provided a way for you to download your data before opting to delete your account. To export and save your account data, please see these instructions.
