I hope this message finds you well. The support and feedback we’ve received from our user community have been instrumental in shaping Bublup’s journey and I want to thank you for being part of our growth. Today, I’m reaching out with an important update regarding our pricing.
Bublup is unique in providing a single place to save all of your digital stuff together no matter what type of content it is. Where else can you bring together links, notes, photos, documents, task lists, assignments, and everything else related to a topic? Bublup automatically makes all of it visual, easy to organize, easy to search, and provides so many ways to share it with others. Since our launch in 2019, we’ve made substantial investments to enhance the app, often based on requests from our users. Read more about our many enhancements on our support site.
The costs of developing and operating an app of Bublup’s caliber are significant. Unlike many other platforms, we don’t display ads in our product or monetize your personal data. Our goals are to provide a clean, uninterrupted user experience and to respect your privacy. Â In order to continue providing this app to our users, we have to support our costs, and have decided to make Bublup a paid app starting on Dec. 1, 2023. Please continue reading to see how this might affect you.
On Dec. 1, the price of our Premium plan will change from $6.99/mo. to $7.99/mo., with corresponding changes to the annual pricing. The price for all other plans is unchanged. If you are already on a paid plan, thank you for your business and your support of the app!
If you are using the free version of Bublup, we hope you will decide to support and enjoy the app going forward by signing up for one of our paid plans by Dec. 1. We will continue to offer free accounts for the purpose of acting as a guest in other people’s “group folders”, including adding and viewing content, commenting, and reacting. Only paying users will be able to create and store folders and items in their accounts. Free users will not be able to share their folders, items, or rolls with other users.
Free account holders will continue to have view-only access to their data for a limited time. However, eventually, Bublup will have to start deleting data in free accounts. Advance notice will be provided to allow free users to download and safeguard their data.This will not affect their ability to access content in group folder shared with them by paying users.
If you decide you’d prefer to manage your information somewhere else, we understand and have provided a way for you to download your data and delete your account. If you choose to leave Bublup, please see these instructions.
