Senior Graphic / UI Designer

Bublup is looking for an experienced senior graphic designer with skills in UI and/or UX design to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience conceptualizing and designing user interfaces for consumer applications. Our projects involve highly innovative ways of interacting with data and other users, so creativity is key.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and collaborate with the entire team of stakeholders: product management, UX designers, developers, data scientists, and other visual designers.
• Create storyboards, process flows, wireframes, mockups, and detailed specifications to guide development.
• Develop proof-of-concepts, when needed, using HTML5/CSS3/Javascript to clarify design concepts (Ideal, but not strictly required).

Qualifications

• Degree in Graphic, or UX/UI Design; 3+ years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional portfolio showcasing a strong visual design sense; knowledge of interaction design and methodology; web / mobile projects; and solid conceptual, color theory, typography and layout design skills.
• A broad understanding of web and mobile UI standards, and practical experience in design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of brand and design continuity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Adobe Suite proficiency, particularly with Photoshop, XD, and Illustrator.
• Experience translating design concepts into specifications to be used by developers.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Animation skills for web and mobile.
